IÂ am...
...forever a work in progress... But ya gotta start somewhere – so here's some things worth knowing about me:
‍
My degree is not in Design, but Psychology. While I don’t remember every study I ever read or have mystical powers to bend human behavior to my will, it did empower me with a Psychologist’s perspective. This perspective is about two key things: always asking and analyzing why and a powerful ability to sympathize.
‍
This, combined with an innate artistic ability, has given me the tools I need to be a top-notch, user-centric designer. At the start of my career, I didn’t even know to aspire to it. I thought Design was making things pretty. Now I understand that Design is so much more.
‍
The pursuit of understanding...
The demand for excellence...
The ability to empathize...
Design is about seeing the things that are wrong in the world and making them right.
‍
Cliché? Kinda... but I do deeply believe in it.
I also believe video games are cool, cycling/weightlifting are a great way to offset a love of beer culture, hiking and traveling are fun, and that Superman can suck it because Batman is the single greatest superhero there is.
